Heading east to an area we haven't been. But first a stop at Klines Korners Trading Post that has everthing you could imagine with a southwest theme....made in China. Many brochures for Sea World - I wonder where that is? Really snazzy bathrooms.
Encino the first stop en route, a broken community with many abandoned buildings. But a few survivors hanging on
On to Vaughn the "big" town, population about 2,000, a rail center - more abandoned buildings. Lots of stockades for cattle. Nearly gave up on eating...and then a gleaming diner appeared like a mirage. I ate the first canned green beans I have had in many years ..... and I don't recommend them.
